Fill the gap
while the colour
develops.

A hair salon’s profit hides in the dead time. Thirty-five minutes of processing on every colour, three or four times a day, is most of a working week over a year — and a diary that understands it can sell that time.

Live within the week

Services, durations, prices and staff loaded in — usually an afternoon's work. You take bookings the same week.

Keep your diary and your clients

Coming off Fresha, Treatwell or paper? We migrate the client list and forward bookings so nothing drops.

Your rules, enforced automatically

Deposits, cancellation windows and no-show fees set the way you want — so the system has the awkward conversation, not you.

What it does

The diary knows
how hair works.

Processing time booked properly

The system knows a full head of highlights is 45 minutes of work, 35 of processing, then 30 more. It can book a blow-dry into the middle without double-booking you.

Formulas that follow the client

Colour formula, developer, timings and previous results saved to the profile. Cover for a colleague without a phone call to them on their day off.

Booked while you're asleep

39% of Square Appointments bookings happen between 6pm and 10am. A booking site that never closes catches the ones the phone never would.

Deposits on colour appointments

Three hours of a stylist's time shouldn't be lost to a no-show. Card held at booking, cancellation window enforced automatically.

Rebook before they leave

Prompted at checkout, with the next slot offered on the spot. The single cheapest way to lift retention.

Commission and column value

Takings per stylist, retail attachment and average bill, tracked as it happens. Reviews stop being contentious.

39% of salon bookings happen between 6pm and 10am.

Those are clients deciding at eleven at night that they need their roots done. If the only way to book is a phone call at ten the next morning, most of them book somewhere that let them do it there and then.

A day on the floor

Consultation
to rebook.

The cut is an hour. The business around it is where salons win or lose.

01

Booked — with the right slot length

Service picked online sets the correct duration and processing gap, so the diary is realistic before the day starts.

02

Consultation — history on screen

Last formula, last result, any sensitivity noted. The client doesn't have to explain their own hair again.

03

Processing — the gap earns

A blow-dry or fringe trim slots into the 35-minute window. That's revenue from time that used to be a tea break.

04

Checkout — card, tip, retail, rebook

One transaction, tip split to the right stylist, shampoo on the same receipt, next appointment booked before the coat's on.

Questions

The ones we get asked.

Can it handle processing time in the middle of an appointment?

Yes — that's the feature that matters most for colour work. You define work time and gap time per service, and the diary offers the gap to other clients.

Do stylists get their own calendars and takings?

Yes, with permissions controlling what each person can see. Premium adds tiered commission if you split earnings rather than charge chair rent.

Can I store colour formulas against clients?

Yes, in the client's profile along with notes, allergies and history. It travels with the client rather than living in one stylist's head.

What if a client cancels an hour before a three-hour colour?

On Plus and above you can hold a card at booking and set a cancellation window with a fee. It's set once and applied consistently, which takes the awkwardness out of it.
