What we collect
When you complete a form on this site we collect your name, business name, mobile number and business type. If you email or call us we keep a record of that correspondence.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use your details for one purpose: to contact you about the enquiry you made, and to prepare a quote for Square products and setup.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests — you asked us to get in touch about a business service, and responding is what you would reasonably expect. Where we later send you marketing that is not directly about your enquiry, we rely on your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
Your enquiry is stored in HubSpot, our customer relationship management system, so we can respond to it and keep track of the conversation. HubSpot processes data on our behalf under a contract.
If you go on to open a Square account, you will contract directly with Square (Squareup International Ltd / Block, Inc.) and their own privacy notice will apply to that relationship. We may pass your details to Square in order to set up your account, with your knowledge.
Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers are covered by UK-approved safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Agreement.
How long we keep it
If you become a customer, we keep your details for the life of the relationship and for [[RETENTION PERIOD — e.g. 6 years]] afterwards, to meet our accounting and legal obligations.
If you enquire but do not go ahead, we keep your enquiry for [[RETENTION PERIOD FOR ENQUIRIES — e.g. 24 months]] and then delete it.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

If you are not happy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Security
We use reputable providers, restrict who can see enquiry data to those who need it, and transmit this website over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we take the protection of your information seriously.

We may update this notice. The current version was last updated in September 2026. Material changes will be reflected here.
